President's Message

Another year has passed and frankly we have been so busy that we’ve hardly noticed…Insaf Malaysia is now 4.
What does this new birthday mean to me, the committee and the volunteers? It is an important birthday, like toddlers we are still very young but we are beginning to understand how things work and how in order to obtain something, sometimes we have to scream and make ourselves heard!
And that is what we have done in the past year! We have made ourselves heard by the work we have carried out and by the commitment we have shown to our causes and our perseverance in getting things done.
Let us take a closer look at some of the projects we have carried out:

  • Mobile Clinic (Medical and Psychological) in Kg Gumun, Tasik Chini, Pahang by the Health Cluster
  • Progamme “Tak Nak Gemok” with MySihat at Sekolah Menengah Sains Ulu Selangor by the Health Cluster

  • Programme “Pakaian Amal Insaf Malaysia” in Kuala Lumpur where we collected almost 10 metric tons of clothes for distribution to Orang Asal communities in Pahang, Perak and Johor, by the WASH cluster

  • “Sekempit Beras Sebuah Rumah” Programme again in Kuala Lumpur where we collected 9 tons of rice for the Orang Asal in Pahang, Perak and Johor, by the Food Cluster

  • “Buka Puasa” (Iftar) with Orang Asal (Muslim and non Muslim) by the Food Cluster

  • Ibadah Korban (6 cows) were slaughtered and the meat was distributed to various Orang Asal communities by the Food Cluster
  • Volunteer Appreciation Day High Tea Insaf Malaysia to thank them for their efforts and hard work supporting Insaf Malaysia
  • “Tampal Rumah Programme” (24 volunteers, 24 hours, 1 house). With the help of volunteers and students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of UiTM Shah Alam & Pulau Penang, UMP Kuantan, we have built 3 houses for 3 families in Kg Gumum, Tasik Chini, Pahang, by the Shelter Cluster
  • Basic Logistic Training Course for young volunteers. The course also included survival techniques in Emergency Response, First Aid and CPR at Sungei Serdat, Ulu Yam, Selangor by the Heath Cluster
  • Launch of Insaf Malaysia Food Bank Programme by the Food Cluster in Kuala Lumpur
  • Renovation work at Rumah Kebajikan Anak Yatim At-Taqua, Puchong, Selangor
  • Renovation work at Panti Asuhan Mukarramah, Padang, Sumatra and Panti Asuhan Darul Hikmat, Semarang, both in Indonesia
  • Supply new beds & mattresses for Panti Asuhan Sjarfuddin, Semarang, Indonesia
  • Supply new computers and new classroom equipment for Madrasah Salaffiah, and Madrasah Hur Huda, Semarang, Indonesia
For the year ahead we have prepared a Calendar of Events which sets out all the main events we have organized. Without any doubt it will be another exciting year for Insaf Malaysia and for all of us involved.
I would like to thank everyone, sponsors and volunteers alike and I hope that with your continued support Insaf Malaysia will achieve even higher goals and scale greater heights in the fight against suffering, destitution and poverty.
Finally I will have to remind anyone and everyone that as an NGO our funds are very small and we are in constant need of financial help from companies, organizations or individuals alike. Please donate, donate, donate….
