Ishak Abdul Kadir

Yesterday we turned 5! Happy Birthday Insaf Malaysia.

“Buka Puasa” (Iftar) at Rumah Perlindungan & Bimbingan Wanita WARDA, Klang, Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Siti Nur Aini, Kajang and Rumah Kasih Sayang, Rawang.
Our Shelter Cluster has indeed been very busy! Due to your generosity of companies such as Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (they financed 2 houses), we completed another 4 houses with the assistance of volunteers and students alike. We are also proud to announce that the Star Publication took notice of our efforts in the constructions of houses for the Orang Asal communities. They have expressed an interest in raising funds for 8 more houses to be built in Selangor, the first one of which will be built as early as this coming weekend. We are very proud of this latest development.

Towards the end of the year we also found the time to design and produce our very first Insaf Malaysia Calendar for 2014, featuring the beautiful faces of the orang asal children we met in the various villages we visited over the last year.

To conclude I want to thank everyone for their donations, their generosity and also the volunteers and committee members, for their time. I appreciate all your efforts and your help. I look forward to another busy and fruitful year.
